Gift of Hope Receives Community Foundation Grant

Making ends meet can be a daily challenge for families in the Taney County area.  The Community Foundation of Taney County (CFTC) understands the need and is helping provide financial relief to local, Non-Profit organizations.

Recently, CFTC presented a grant in the amount of $1000.00 to Gift of Hope for the purchase of nutritious food that will be used for The Backpack Club.

“Due to the generosity of donors throughout our community, the Foundation is able to facilitate grants to local non-profit organizations,” said Peter Connolly, Chairman for Branson Area Community Grantmaking Fund.  “We are pleased that this particular grant will benefit Gift of Hope in order to help them purchase items that will benefit the entire community.”

Gift of Hope’s mission is providing essentials and pathways to independence for Taney County families. Those wanting to contribute monetary donations to Gift of Hope may contact Meghan Connell, Director by phone at: (417) 546-8062, email at: mconnell@nationalenzyme.com, or visit their website at: http://giftofhopeinc.org/

CFTC is committed to finding local solutions to local problems.  The goal is to build a permanent source of assets that will help provide income to meet the many needs identified in the community. CFTC simplifies the giving process by helping connect individuals, families, and businesses with local, non-profit agencies, schools, and churches through grants and planned giving funds.
